Selfish workouts from the Oldies: Jack LaLlane, Richard Simmons & Susan Summers

A term selfish is used so often in our society. What does that really mean. Am I selfish because I want to feel good, and keep my body healthy? Am I selfish because I eat right, buy foods that I know will better support a healthy heart, mind, bone structure, and muscle recovery?
Jack LaLlane revolutionized fitness in America with his first television show in 1951. Richard Simmons, and Suzanne Somers have been creating fun fitness videos since the seventies, while creating a path for the fitness industry we have today!! Kudos to you WILD & CRAZY GURUS!!!
I like to think that there are two beliefs of selfish behaviors. An unhealthy belief and the healthy belief. Unhealthy selfishness comes when we're only seeking to benefit for ourselves. Unhealthy selfishness comes from the belief of fear, unworthiness, and victimization.
Healthy selfishness comes from the belief and knowing-ness that when one takes care of themselves they are capable of offering the best of themselves to others. Thus creating harmony, synergy, and peace. Healthy selfishness is about self-preservation!
I would ask for your feedback. Looking for an open discussion. Let me know what your thoughts are.
